MTK Marbella Muay Thai Abdo Chahidi

Team MTK’s Abdo Chahidi will face the most important challenge of his career at the end of this month when he faces Thailand’s Payak-Samui in THAI FIGHT BARCELONA on the 30th September. The biggest event in International Thai Boxing is being held for the first time ever in the beautiful city of Barcelona to celebrate the 147th year of the THAILAND-SPAIN relationship. “THAI FIGHT BARCELONA” will be held at Palau D’Esports de la Vall D’Hebron and broadcast LIVE on Thai National Channel 3.

8 Thai fighters will face 8 International fighters in this fantastic event, including MTK Marbella’s Abdo Chahidi, Spanish Champion 2013 and Iberian Champion 2015. Born in Malaga and now living in Fuengirola, MTK’s Abdo is 24 years old and has been training with MTK Marbella’s Muay Thai Coach and Spanish National Coach Rafi Zouheir in MTK Gym for the past 2 years. He originally began training K1 at 16 years of age and now concentrates on Muay Thai with MTK’s Rafi.

With over 46 Muay Thai and K1 fights under his belt, Abdo has good experience but knows he faces a dangerous opponent in Payak-Samui from Thailand who has won 64 of his 82 fights. They will face each other in the 68kg category and this promises to be a great fight. To be achieve victory in this fight is very important for Abdo’s career as it will bring International recognition and routes to even greater fights and titles ahead.
