MTK Global are delighted to announce that Irish amateur star Gary Cully has been added to the blockbuster Belfast bill on October 21st at the SSE Arena.
Cully is set for a busy start to his career as he features twice in just five weeks and it’s a huge stage for the Irishman in only his second professional contest.
“It’s great for Irish boxing with it being a unification fight and to be on a card like that it’s going to be huge, especially at such an early stage of my career” Cully said.
“It’s a huge platform. Eddie Hearn doesn’t come to Ireland much, maybe once or twice a year, so when you get the opportunity to be on one of his cards you want to impress, especially in front of the Sky Sports cameras
Belfast’s Ryan Burnett attempts to unify the Bantamweight division against Zhanat Zhakiyanov and the undefeated IBF champion is a source of inspiration for Cully.
“Ryan is where I want to be in a couple of years time. Featuring on his undercard and just being a part of the buzz, the weigh in and the press conference will be a great experience for me.”
